# When I try to place a bet, I get a message that I have exceeded the winnings limit. How high is the winnings limit?

When you receive a message about exceeding the winnings limit, it means that WinZir's risk management has set a cap on potential winnings for your bet. These limits can vary based on several factors, such as the specific bet's supply and demand. Additionally, limits may be temporarily adjusted during odds updates. If you encounter this message, it’s essential to consider that the odds might have changed as well. For more information, please refer to the WinZir sportsbook rules.
