# What is Points Handicap?

Points Handicap refers to adding or subtracting a specific number of points to a team's score to level the playing field in a game. Your bet is successful if the team you selected has the highest score after the handicap adjustment.

For example, if Team A has a +5 handicap and scores 50 points, their adjusted total is 55. If Team B scores 50 points, and you bet on Team A, your bet wins because Team A's final score (with the handicap) is higher.
