# How to Compute Commission for an Agent?

**Exciting News for Our Agents and Affiliates!**

Starting this month (September 2024), the government-mandated deductions for taxes and PAGCOR contributions have been **reduced to 35%**. This means only 35% will now be deducted from your commission, allowing you to take home even more earnings as part of our commitment to lowering costs for agents and affiliates!

**Key Updates:**

* **No Negative Carryover**: Had a challenging month? Don’t worry! Your balance will reset at the start of the next month, giving you a clean slate to start fresh.
* **Transparent Commission Calculation**: Your commission rate is calculated after government fees are deducted from the Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR).

**Example Calculation:**

* **Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR):** Php 1,000,000
* **Government Fees (35%):** Php 500,000
* **Net Revenue:** Php 500,000
* If your commission rate is **50%**, your commission would be **Php 250,000**.
* If you have a sub-agent earning **Php 200,000** with a 40% commission rate, you’d earn **10% passively** from their commission — that’s an additional **Php 20,000**!

**Dashboard Transparency:**

* **Affiliates**: Taxes are displayed under the **TAX** section in the affiliate dashboard.
* **Agents**: Taxes appear as **"Admin Cost"** in the agent dashboard.
