How is a Basketball Game Calculation Made?
In basketball betting, the results for all bets generally include overtime, unless specifically stated otherwise. For bets involving the "winner of the match" with a "draw" option, only the regular time is considered, excluding overtime. Below are some key rules for basketball betting:
Basketball Betting Rules
Game and Prop Betting:
Games must start on the scheduled date for bets to be valid.
If the venue changes but the designated home team remains the same, bets still stand. However, if the home and away teams swap venues, all bets are void.
Bets remain valid if there are 5 minutes or less remaining in the game, provided the outcome is not yet determined.
For 3x3 or Streetball, the first team to score 21 points or the highest score after 10 minutes wins. A tie in regulation results in an untimed overtime, where the first team to score two points wins.
In 2-way markets, if the game ends in a tie, bets are void and stakes are returned unless otherwise specified.
Pre-Game Bets, Including Game Props:
All pre-game bets include overtime unless stated otherwise.
Player Statistics/Match-Ups/Performances:
Bets on player performance (e.g., points, rebounds, assists) are valid if the player participates in the game. If not, bets are void.
Overtime counts toward player props unless specified otherwise.
For match-ups between players, handicaps may be applied to determine results.
Double Double/Triple Double:
A Double Double requires a player to record 10 or more in two of these five categories: points, rebounds, assists, blocks, steals.
A Triple Double requires 10 or more in three of those five categories.
Wire-To-Wire:
This bet is on whether a team will lead at the end of each quarter. If a team fails to lead at the end of all quarters, the bet is lost. If different teams lead at various quarters, "Any Other Result" wins.
In-Play/Live Bets
In-Play/Live Game Bets (Include Overtime):
If a game is postponed or canceled with less than 5 minutes remaining, bets are valid unless the outcome has already been determined.
In-Play/Live Half and Quarter Bets (Include Overtime):
The first half must be completed for first-half bets to stand. Similarly, for the second half and fourth quarter, 5 minutes or less must remain for bets to be valid unless the outcome is already determined.
NBA Futures and Tournament Props
Regular Season Wins/Match-Ups:
The team must complete all scheduled games for bets to stand unless the remaining games don't impact the result.
To Win Division/Conference:
NBA tiebreak rules apply. The conference winner is the team that reaches the NBA Championship.
Outright, Division, Conference, and Regional Betting:
Bets are valid regardless of team relocation, name change, or season length.
Series Betting:
Bets are settled according to the official result.
All betting markets are settled based on official statistics and rankings provided by governing bodies such as the NBA and FIBA.
